I always wished I could select a folder in Finder and just see all images and videos scattered across its subfolders in one place. Instead, I have to click through a tree of folders, going in and out, just to look at things.
So I decided to try and build an alternative to Finder, without knowing if it would actually work. But it did. FFFFinder is a native macOS app that takes a folder with all its subfolders, scans the images and videos inside, and displays everything in one visual grid.
It does not move files. It does not create a library. Everything stays exactly where it is on the Mac. The app simply removes the folder maze and lets me browse the media directly.
